Quad Series Teams Named
Christchurch Metro Cricket have named its Red and Black teams for the final week of the Quad series to be played on Sunday 22 October.
Christchruch Black play Canterbury Country at Mainpower Oval and Christchurch Red play the Canterbury Senior Performance Squad at Burwood Park.

U15 Trial teams Named
Six teams will take part in the Under 15 Trial Series over three Sundays, commencing 22 October.
Following the series, three CMCA teams will be selected to take part in the Under 15 regional tournament
Players to report to Burnside Park 9.15am on 22 October and to Ilam Fields on 29 October and November 5

Cancellation and Ground Changes
We have had significant rain since last Friday night on top of our wettest winter since 1975.
This has meant areas of outfield flooding and very wet pitch blocks which has restricted pitch preparation for this Saturday.
Metro has inspected all the cricket grounds twice since Wednesday and have made the following decision.
All Metro Adult and Youth cricket is cancelled on Saturday 14 October except for the following grades; please note the ground changes:
STA v LP moves to Warren 1a
BWU v ES moves to Warren 2a
Syd v Mar Har moves to Warren 3a
OBC v Ricc moves to Warren 4a
OBC v STA moves to Elmwood 3a
Syd v LP moves to Hag 3a
Hals v Mp moves to Westlake 1a
Heath v LP-Add moves to Walter 1a

- Rubber-soled shoes must be worn when batting or bowling on the artificial pitches.
- Each team must supply a set(that is, one unit) of spring-loaded stumps
- No covers are required at Burnside Oval but hessian should be used to protect from any dew.
