This award highlights and rewards the performances of our club players.  The team is selected as the club team of the season and the selection criteria is individual statistics in the one and two day competition and the need to selected a balanced team of twelve players.

A strong Christchurch Metro Representative side has been announced to play the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Touring side from the United Kingdom.  The game will take place on 11 February at Heathcote Domain commencing at 10.30am.

Christchurch Metro Cricket will be running the Year 9/10 Super Boom Cricket  late February / early March.  The Super Boom Cricket is a T20 competition run over three Sundays with two games played each day. The dates for the SBC are 18th, 25th February & 4th March (venue tbc).

Super Boom Cricket gives players the opportunity for more cricket in a competitive environment but without selection pressure.  The format of T20 is a great chance for players to express themselves in a format that will become more common throughout the youth competitions.

The cost of the Super Boom Cricket is $60 per player which will cover balls, ground hire, coaches, and umpires.
